Matcha puree with pomegranate - thick and nutritious

Matcha puree is very easy to make and is a great choice for a healthy breakfast. A bomb of antioxidants and vitamins! Not only super tasty but also super healthy. 

Matcha - "superfood". One cup of this cocktail provides energy for the whole day. L-theanine in tea increases the concentration of dopamine and serotonin, which causes a relaxing effect, great mood and good feeling.

Pomegranates are fruits full of antioxidants and vitamins C, K, B6 ir E. Granatai, kaip ir Matcha, yra laikomi antioksidantų “lobynu”, dėka kurių, laisvieji radikai pašalinami iš organizmo. Tai the right choice to give you energy for the whole day. 

Spinach contains a lot of iron and antioxidants that fight inflammation and viruses and slow down the aging process. They contain a lot of vitamin A, C, K, folic acid, manganese, magnesium, potassium, calcium.

NOTE: For a creamier consistency, put the spinach and banana in the freezer 1.5 hours before cooking. If you don't like bananas, you can replace it with avocado.

I use dates as a natural sweetener.

YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 teaspoon Matcha for cocktails powder
  • 1 glass of spinach
  • 2 dates
  • ½ pomegranate

PREPARATION:

  1. Wash the spinach.
  2. Pour the almond milk into an electric mixer, add the banana, spinach and chopped dates. Stir until until it becomes a thick mass and no more spinach bits.
  3. Add the Matcha powder and mix again briefly.
  4. Spoon the puree into a bowl and add the pomegranate pieces.
  5. Delicious!
