About teas:

Gyokuro (玉露) it is one of the noblest of all Japanese and sometimes all world green teas. It is valued for its unique sweet taste and health properties of vegetables and herbs. Relaxes the body and mind, calms down, makes the mind alert, improves concentration.

Sencha (煎茶) - the most popular of all Japanese teas. It is very rich in vitamin C, trace elements and antioxidants, especially catechins, which inhibit cell aging, help our body to maintain youth and protect the cardiovascular system.

Catechins also aid digestion, which is why Sencha is recommended to be taken 30 min. after a meal. Due to its mild taste, Sencha pairs well with food, especially with dishes such as tempura and seafood.

Premium Bancha Fukamushi (深蒸し茶, English deep-steamed tea) It is a tea that has been steamed for a longer period of time. After Sencha Bancha tea is the most popular of all Japanese teas. It is rich in vitamin C, trace elements and antioxidants, especially catechins, which inhibit cell aging, help our body to maintain youth and protect the cardiovascular system.

Genmaicha (玄米茶) is Japanese green tea Sencha with fried brown rice (genmai) and popcorn. The finished tea has a light yellow color and a very mild taste of nuts and fried rice, which balances the bitterness of the tea. Often drunk, Genmaichaturi extremely great health benefits. Hojicha (ほうじ茶) – this is roasted Sencha and Bancha tea. Because the tea leaves are brown and the infusion is orange, it doesn't look like a typical green tea. The tea leaves are roasted in pans at a temperature of about 200 °C and immediately cooled. Roasting allows the caffeine to sublimate, making the tea less bitter. Deka's Hojicha tea with its mild roasted chestnut and cocoa flavor is a favorite among children and the elderly.
